Good-bye Ducklings

The little ducklings have gone back to their farm.  It has been so much fun having them in the classroom.  We took them outside and played with them on the grass.  Later, we put them in the water table.  It was amazing to see them dive under water and swim about. Our students have had the opportunity to learn and be responsible in order to look after these small creatures.   Only 2 ever hatched out, and each of them was a very different breed.  One was a Rouen while the other was a Khaki Campbell duck.  Each had very different colouring and one was considerably smaller than the other.  Although many wonderful names were suggested, Sparkle and Cutie seemed to be the favourites!
