Surprise Classroom Guest

We arrived this morning only to discover someone was "cheeping"!  Although we did not expect any ducklings to hatch until tomorrow, one had made it's way out at some point on the weekend.  It was all dried off, and seemed very healthy.  They seem like very social animals and when someone is looking over them, they are happy, but when everyone goes away, he cheeps very loud!!  He is absolutely adorable.  Another egg was about to hatch when we left school today, so hopefully by tomorrow, he will have another friend to keep him company.
